These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CodifyNest services, including all websites and platforms operated under the codifynest.com domain and subdomains, such as chat.codifynest.com. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

CodifyNest provides tools and services for research, productivity, and development. Currently, this includes:

AI-powered chat at chat.codifynest.com using Google Gemini API
Optional sign-in via Google or Apple through Clerk
Temporary guest chat without login (data not stored)
Persistent chat history for signed-in users

These services may expand to include additional APIs, AI agents, integrations, and platforms over time.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Signing in through Google or Apple verifies your eligibility via those providers. CodifyNest does not knowingly offer services to minors under 18.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use CodifyNest to:

Engage in any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity
Input or generate harmful, threatening, abusive, or misleading content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or exploit CodifyNest systems
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

You are solely responsible for the content you input during your interactions with AI systems.

4. AI Output Disclaimer

CodifyNest uses third-party large language models (LLMs) such as Google Gemini to generate AI responses. These outputs:

Are generated algorithmically and may be inaccurate, biased, or incomplete
Should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or financial advice
Are not guaranteed to be correct, safe, or factual

You understand and accept the risks of using generative AI tools.

5. Data Usage and Privacy

CodifyNest does not log IP addresses or track personal metadata.

Guest chat data is not stored
Signed-in users' chats are stored in MongoDB Atlas (Google Cloud)
Chat history is used only to provide contextual continuity
Content is not used for advertising, analytics, or model training

6. Account Deletion & Data Access

Users may delete their CodifyNest account via Clerk. We plan to provide options for users to request and download their stored chat data in future updates.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, designs, and original content associated with CodifyNest are the property of CodifyNest and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without permission.

AI-generated content belongs to the user, but CodifyNest is not liable for its use or consequences.

8. Service Availability & Termination

CodifyNest reserves the right to:

Modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time
Restrict or terminate user access for violations of these Terms
Limit or revoke access to experimental or free-tier features

We strive to provide a stable experience but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodifyNest is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Use or misuse of the service
Inaccurate AI responses
Loss of data or service interruption

Use CodifyNest at your own risk.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
